The aim of the journal, target-group: To have a forum for the experts at home and abroad, who are interested in agriculture and in region-development, and who are connected to the Internet. To supply information in hungarian and in other languages about Research and Development (R+D), about the actual questions of consultancy, about Internet databases, documents.

Readers, reading: MIAÚ began its work in Septemeber 1998. Against short time, the readers are really different like it was planed and as log-files shows it. From October MIAÚ has three language navigation (hungarian, german and english). The journal can be reached by readers without paying. Now it has a new edition monthly, but it is updated daily.

Introductory advertising: Since the begining of the services of MIAÚ, the intrested corporates (government, venture-development, region-development, chambers, consultancy, universities, companies, etc.) were notified with news-letter, e-mail, and with other devices. MIAÚ can be reached through Internet search-engines.

References: The Editorial Board nowadays has three members (AKII, DATE, GATE). Our supporters/partners are from everywhere from the (agricultural) sector: ACDIVOCA is an organization of the American International Development Agency (USAID), Gödöllõ Agricultural Center (GAK), the IKTA-consorcies supported by GATE, DATE, OMFB and by FVM, the Strategical Integrational Workgroup, the Agricultural Account System and the Test Farm System Workgroup, and MAGISZ (Hungarian Agricultural-Informatical Association) with its country-wide membership. We can be reached through the international Agroweb network, coordinated by FAO. We had ourselves registered on the most important home web-pages and in the international databases too (professional journal`s list, ISSN-Office, etc.). Through education we are one of the most important forum and information fountain of the next generation experts. MAINFOKA was also integrated into the journal.

Next Steps: Under prepare the mapping of the agricultural informatical system of the EU, as well as making steps as early as possible needed for joining the Union. For January 1999 can be expected the survey of the journal`s advertising value by independent experts.

Why presence with us is worth? The readers with wide intrest and appearing in the Internet based professional journal has not the same aim and effect etc.: like spreading daily pricelists. With us it`s worth to show the image, the strategy, the fame, the renomee, the trustability, the references, scientific and innovation strength of the company, and after this we recommend to add the pricelists the product-descriptions. The Internet presence and Internet-based advertising without quantity limits and limited acces is the best quality advertising for readers.
