Microcredit

Aim: During the project, because of the late/unperfection of the country (state) system and because of the own order of settlement of the Savings Cooperative, the arised client-office problems in Micro-Credit managing in Sátoraljaújhely had to be solved by software development. The essence of sofware support was, that the statements driven by the Savings Cooperative weren`t enough processed for client-office work, and that`s why dataprocessing had to be set between the Cooperative and the Venture-Development Foundation, as well as a client-user software at the Foundation. During consultations with experts the software and dataprocessing was made comfortable for demands set by the situation.
Tasks: During the project datatransfer was needed between the Cooperative and the Foundation, which in the absence of a network was carried out by floppys, though the data-quantity was relatively great. After it, the content of the Cooperative`s database had to be got know and select the really needed and right basedatas. After these basedatas (cashpayings and it`s values) statements had to be made with right content and with right format. Beside these, datasearching had to be made possible at any wiewpoint (at will).
Utility: With the help of the software support the Foundation could immadiately solve the information demand of credit-askers, and it could always give information about the new paying conditions forcame after late payings and about the situation of debtor-classification. This way the reporting obligation of the Foundation was simpilfied and the state of the information suppliement of credit-askers improved. The project can be extended, and the experiences can be reused at the development of the client-office system at every bank, as the Rákóczi Bank showed itself opened for the same.

Aim: During the realization of the Sátoraljaújhely Information Network (SIN), made itself realise the need for educating the forecoming collegaues and the consultants working in the region, because the usage of the Internet and it`s services can not be easily expected without the basic operating skills and without the knowledge of its own logic. Beside the Internet applications and networking, the need for supporting local (home) work also came up. On the local PC`s mostly database applications can be imagined as consultancy stuffs, which usually created under Microsoft Office environment.

Tasks: During the project, a basic Internet education utility was worked out, as well as its continuing stuff which teaches the usage of Internet libraries. Beside this, also finished the preparation of teaching and demonstration stuff of the MS-OFFICE programs like WORD, EXCEL and mainly ACCESS. The demonstration stuff teaches mainly database handling-tasks. In all the topics, coarses was held in Sátoraljaújhely in the organization of the Venture-Development Foundation.

Utility: The knowledge about Internet and about databases had a good echo within the local users, and the communication style with the organizators and with the instructors also changed as modems appeared. This allowed teaching and testing the Micro-Credit program through Internet. These experiences helped carrying out more efficiency the REMETE and MAINFOKA projects.

Aim: Because of the complexity of region-development decisions and competency problems of the participants (regional self-government), decision preparing is needed to happen on an abstract level depending on the topic, but the decision should be legitimate.
Tasks: A special point-based system was worked out, which makes possible - in case of a corporate decision - comparing abstract categories by voters in the level of essence with marking priorities, as well as in the level of legitimation through valueing competency.
Utility: The decision-makers may avoid steril dispute and may have a quick, well founded decision based on consensus. Case study: The first study had the acknowledgement, that after the general strategy of little settlements, their supportment would be important, but in the priority of compromise the following place belonged to the regional center and that`s why the result of the vote was forced as the preference of the regional centers, though on theoretical level every-one was against it, but in the end every-one agreed the decision.

Aim: Forming the stuffs - supporting consultancy worked out for ACDIVOCA projects - as a practical subject.
Tasks: A proposal to the Faculty-Council of the Faculty of Economy and Social Sciences in GAU for accepting the subject and for insertation into the old and into the new syllabus. The proposal contains a topics of five rows, a topics of one page and a topics of five pages. Beside this, a CD will be carried out supporting education, containing the whole stuff.
Utility: Students beside the thoretical basics may try out themselves the services. Theoretical education consists RENOAAR, and now with starting date 1999 MAINFOKA, REMETE and MIAÚ become part of the education also.

MAINFOKA-course
Aim: Courses for the membership of MAGISZ, for agricultural enterpriseur and for consultants. Due the courses participants may get an overall internet knowledge (email, ftp, www, libraries, telnet, searching, etc.) by focusing to the services of MAINFOKA and MIAÚ.
Tasks: Computer halls and courses in three scenes (Kecskemét, Keszthely, Gödöllõ)
Utility: The participants get an overall picture about Internet services in the level of contain as well as methodological.
