At first: each relevant information can be found in the course-diary and in Moodle: - https://miau.my-x.hu/mediawiki/index.php/QuILT-IK045-Diary - https://moodle.kodolanyi.hu/enrol/index.php?id=17305 On the other hand: - we really need the co-operation for the final publication - and you have very good keywords " pizza restaurant" and business To be totally operative: - we need data - we need a question/problem/decision point - we have a question: CAN WE DERIVE THE CHANGING OF THE CURIOSITY (=SEARCHING ACTIVITIES) OF THE HUNGARIAN PEOPLE CONCERNING PIZZA HUT BASED ON A LOT OF FACTORS (LIKE credit, job, salary, etc.)? - we have data: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&geo=HU&q=%2Fm%2F09cfq,hitel,%C3%A1ll%C3%A1s,munka,fizet%C3%A9s - already downloaded: https://miau.my-x.hu/miau/quilt/2020/pizza_business_google_trends/ Tasks to solve: - we need a set of factors (keywords for searching in google trends) - we need the downloaded data - we need an OAM Tips and tricks: - the keyword "Pizza Hut" should always be part of the keyword-list in order to ensure transformation possibilities The Pizza-Hut-task is a kind of forecasting/simulation. We will better understand what and why is happening. This knowledge is the basic for each business - based on big-data and AI. What is your first impulse about this offer? May we go on? *** I think, we can realize a breakout/breakthrough and go on from the planning phase to the creation phase! It would be nice to know, whether one of the two recommendations could be a good challenge for you? - prima primissima (award for pizzas - best pizza-prize) - best price-performace-ration (I would like to hope a YES for one of them...:-) If yes, then we need a matrix with a lot of data and without lacks - see attachment... *** thank you for your decision! To be operative: - what kind of attributes (Xi) do you want to integrate into the evaluation model? - please, sent to me at first a list about the planned attributes (e.g. name, definition=measurement, unit, max-min value, optimum, potential values, direction like the-more-the-better or the-less-the-better or optimal) - this list will be at once part of the final publication! It is not necessary to send a long list at once. At first we need the most trivial attributes based on your experiences and/or based on the literature e.g. What makes the best pizza? https://www.google.com/search?q=best+pizza+award+2019 11 TIPS FOR MAKING THE ABSOLUTE BEST PIZZA * Stretch (Don't Roll!) the Dough. ... * Add Just a Thin Layer of Tomato Sauce. ... * Skip the Fresh Mozzarella. ... * If You Really Want Fresh Mozz, It's Gotta Be Thin. ... * Precook Your Toppings. ... * Brush the Crust With Olive Oil. ... * Spin and Elevate. ... * Add Tender Herbs Last. It is important: the data should be as far as objective measurable! It is also important: Do you want to evaluate written descriptions about how to make pizza or "done" pizzas? *** thank you for your decision. The attributes for evaluation should be listed now concerning the done-pizzas! https://www.researchgate.net/publication/279980387_Sensory_directionals_for_PIZZA_A_deeper_analysis http://www.curresweb.com/mejas/mejas/2013/196-204.pdf It is important furthermore: the data should be as far as objective measurable! *** In order to avoid misunderstandings, please, sent to me the definition of your first attribute. Based on this example, we can finetune the necessary details... (if needed at all:-) *** We need however the definition of the first evaluation criteria = attribute = variable (X) being relevant enough for your best-pizza-award... What do we want to evaluate at first if we see a done pizza - as far as possible in an objective way? *** "how the doug is about toping " = OK - it seems to be just a short description - we need a kind of more detailed "tutorial" for potential judges of the award to evaluate so far operative as possible *** * (Italian: ['pittsa], Neapolitan: ['pitts?]) is a savory dish of Italian origin, consisting of a usually round, flattened base of leavened wheat-based dough topped with tomatoes, cheese, and often various other ingredients (anchovies, olives, meat, etc.) baked at a high temperature, traditionally in a wood-fired .. * First step - MAKING the PIZZA Dough. The step and most important step in MAKING PIZZA is creation of dough by mixing flour with water and or some other liquid (for example milk) and yeast. ... * Second step - Preparing the PIZZA. ... * Third step - Apply the Sauce and Toppings. ... * Fourth Step - Baking It is more a kind of tutorial about "HOW to produce a pizza" (Your decision was: to evaluate done-pizzas and not descriptions how to produce pizzas:-) We are therefore searching for definitions WHEN a pizza is better than an other one? e.g. roundness - criteria the-rounder-the-better e.g. thickness - criteria: the-thinner-the-better Roundness is an objective criteria! (geometry-problem) Thickness is an objective criteria! (it can be measured) etc. Are these two examples good enough for your pizza-award? If yes, we need further criteria! (ca. 10) *** The next step is to complete the list of these good examples... We need at least 10 good criteria for your pizza-award! *** 1. Crust – Is the crust too thin? Too thick? Too doughy? Too hard? Is it sweet or bitter? Does it have those bread bubbles that are so good? 2. Sauce – Is the sauce too thin? To thick? Too spicy? Not spicy enough? Does it taste like old ketchup? 3. Toppings – Are there enough toppings? Are they fresh? Is the chicken crispy? Do they skimp on the pineapple? 4. Cheese – Do we use quality cheese 5. Value – Is the price set where can be afforded 6. Cleanliness – the pizza place should be clean 7. Ambiance – Is there music set at an appropriate volume? Does the music annoy you? Is there a TV on and what are they playing? 8. Proximity – Is the restaurant too far to drive whenever you want a pizza? Do they deliver? Would the cost of getting to your pizza add too much to the overall bill? 9. Service – Are the workers happy? Do they thank you for your business? Are they attentive to your needs 10. Owner Availability – Can you speak to the owner directly? Does the owner seek you out to thank you for your business and ensure that you had a quality experience? Is the owner willing to take criticism or advice? Excellent! And now, we need a test process in a real or even in a virtual way. At least 20 pizzas should be evaluated based on your criteria below. The best ones should have e.g. the evaluation value of 1 (Nr1) in case of each criteria. The most disadvategous ones should have the evaluation value or score of e.g. 10. It means: we need a matrix (XLS) where the pizzas are the objects in the row-headers and the criteria are in the column-headers. The cells contain the evaluation values! *** see xls: https://miau.my-x.hu/miau/quilt/2020/pizza_business_google_trends/pizza_y0.xlsx
