Recommendations

A thesis (and its parts) does not have a strong defined form.
Rules concerning the form should never be more important than the rules about the content/quality.
Therefore, it is not relevant here and now, what the form is. 
The form may - however - never destroy/disturb the interpretation potential of the content.
