The aim of this page is to decide whether message of political news found on the internet are true or untrue (the name "e-gazság" is a play on words: "igazság", which sounds exactly as "e-gazság" (e is for electronic), means truth in Hungarian, whereas gazság means knavery. In English the project will be called as e-lite, associating to the polite question: Who is the online elite?).
Therefore, all news, for which a database can be found using data mining, will be analyzed. The news will be collected and processed from various web pages, and their sources will be indicated. The news reflect the standpoints of parties in all cases, they are based on quotes of those working to the political parties. The work is divided to two parts:
1. The news will be evaluated based on the quotes, their message and motivation will be analyzed.
2. In order to determine whether a spokesman of a certain party has spoken the truth, or resorted to knavery, a database connected to that piece of information has to be unraveled. The motivation and purpose of the study is the parliamentary elections held in 2010. The results are stored in the table that can be found on the home page. The columns of the table consist of parties, rows are for the news, and the values of the tables are hit ratings, showing how accurate are the statements and forecasts of the parties. "Thus, at what percentage do the parties speak the truth?"
